WHAT TO EXPECT

1) Enlistment. This is your pre-BOOT CAMP orientation, in which you'll meet with one of our certified personal trainers as they answer your questions, and evaluate you to determine which level of training is best for you. At your orientation, you can expect:

2) Assignment. Your test results are used to place you in an appropriate group from Beginner to Advanced.  The results will also provide you with a base from which you will establish your weight loss and or fitness goals.  Measurements are not required but suggested at the beginning and end of every 4 week session.

3) Training. We encourage you to participate in one of our Technical Classes to learn correct form, and best prepare you for your BOOT CAMP experience.

4) Indoctrination. This is your four-week BOOT CAMP. One hour a day, three to six days a week, for four fun filled weeks.

What you'll need.

  • Running shoes
  • Workout towel
  • Weightlifting gloves (optional)
  • Water
  • Layered attire for the outdoors

Similar to a real BOOT CAMP, each day is different, designed to work on various areas of the body and spirit to improve your overall health. The workouts will include one or all of the following techniques:

  • Resistance Training
  • Stretching
  • Running /walking
  • Speed, Agility and Quickness Drills
  • Stair climbing
  • Calisthenics
  • Obstacle courses
  • Wind Sprints
  • Plyometrics (speed/strength training drills)
  • Steep hill drills (for the more advanced)
  • Gravity-defying glute exercises and thigh-strengthening moves (ladies)
  • Power yoga
  • Free weight exercises
  • Bands/tubes or Body Bars
  • Ab and all-around Core Training
  • Group Drills
  • Jumping Rope
5) Graduation. Congratulations! You and your group made it through San Diego's Premier Fitness BOOT CAMP. Participants are expected to lose 4 to 20 pounds upon completion.
